Somerset ISD invites parents, guardians, and community members to attend our annual Parent & Community Expo, a FREE, district-wide event designed to empower families, strengthen connections, and provide valuable tools to support student success—both in and beyond the classroom.
This engaging morning will feature high-quality, meaningful learning sessions led by knowledgeable presenters, focusing on topics that matter most to today’s families. Featured sessions and experiences include:
How to access scholarship funding and financial resources for college
Informational booths and resources from community partners, including the Texas Workforce Commission, offering guidance on career pathways, job readiness, and workforce opportunities
With more than a dozen sessions available—many offered with Spanish translation—families can customize their experience based on their interests and needs.
In addition to learning sessions, attendees will enjoy performances from Somerset ISD Fine Arts programs, showcasing the talent and creativity of our students throughout the event.
To ensure families can fully participate, Somerset ISD will provide:
FREE lunch
FREE childcare for children ages 5 through 5th grade, featuring hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and supervised fun
Door prizes, including gift cards and other exciting giveaways (doors open early—arrive on time for prize drawings!)
