As the new school year approaches, Somerset ISD is inviting families to kick off the year prepared and connected at the annual Back to School Resource Fair on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ZECLA Cafeteria, located at 7790 E. 3rd Street in Somerset. Families will have access to a variety of resources and services designed to help students begin the school year ready to learn and succeed.
Attendees can receive school supplies, student immunizations, haircuts, and information from community organizations that support student and family well-being. Door prizes and additional resources will also be available throughout the event.
The Back to School Resource Fair is coordinated and facilitated by the THRIVE Center and reflects Somerset ISD's ongoing commitment to supporting the whole child through strong school, family, and community partnerships.
All Somerset ISD families are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the resources available. Whether families need school supplies, health services, or connections to community support programs, the Back to School Resource Fair offers a one-stop opportunity to prepare for a successful school year.
