Somerset ISD is inviting families and staff to help identify students who may benefit from the district’s Gifted and Talented (GT) Program.
The 2026–27 GT nomination window for students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades is open September 14 through October 2.
How to Nominate a Student
Think your child may be a good fit for the GT Program? The process is simple:
Request a nomination packet from your student’s teacher.
3rd–4th grade: Homeroom teacher
5th grade: ELA teacher
Complete the packet.
Return it by October 2 to your student’s teacher or campus front office.
The nomination process provides an opportunity for students to be considered for Somerset ISD’s GT Program and explore opportunities that support their unique strengths and potential.
