Somerset ISD Invites Community to Participate in Math Tier I Program Hearing
Somerset ISD is inviting teachers, families, and community members to take part in an important conversation about the future of math instruction in our schools.
The District will host a Virtual Math Tier I Community Program Hearing on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. via Zoom. During this hearing, participants will learn more about the state-approved math curriculum programs being considered for implementation in the 2026–2027 school year.
The District Math Adoption Committee has been carefully reviewing instructional materials to ensure Somerset ISD students have access to high-quality, engaging, and rigorous math resources. This meeting provides an opportunity for the community to hear directly from experts, review program options, and provide valuable feedback before a final recommendation is made to the Board of Trustees.
Community voice plays a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Somerset ISD encourages all teachers, families, and community members to attend and share their input.
