Somerset ISD welcomes field placement assignments for students in area colleges and universities, as well as alternative certification programs.

Information for University Students

The Somerset ISD Human Resources Department is required to approve all requests for college/university field placements. This includes all practicums and observations.

Please contact your university or college if you are interested in a placement at a campus in the Somerset ISD. Your university or college must contact the Human Resources Department to complete all processes in identifying Cooperating Teacher candidates.

• Students should not contact the campus or the District office

• Students must complete a criminal history background check.  Students must contact the HR Department to submit necessary supporting documentation. Download the form below:
