On Friday, October 6, 2023 the Somerset ISD Education Foundation (SISDEF) hopped in a spirit bus filled with community members, administration staff, cheerleaders, and the Somerset High School drumline to deliver 17 innovative grants to teachers. The best part about the Prize Patrol event is it was a complete surprise. SISDEF raises money year-round for student scholarships and teacher grants. Grants awarded Friday include STEM kits for Pre-Kinder students to focus on math, science, and fine motor skills to a prom night for our life-skills students.
