Join us in welcoming Somerset ISD’s new Police Chief, Brian Bielefeld!
Chief Bielefeld has more than 26 years of law enforcement experience. He began his career as a patrolman on the south side of San Antonio and worked his way up to a supervisor position within the San Antonio Police Department.
Chief Bielefeld has strong ties in the community. The former Bulldog grew up in Somerset and is excited to bring his knowledge and resources to the Somerset ISD Police Department.
“I’m proud to serve this community,” said Chief Bielefeld. “I want our district to be an example for others” and “I want our parents to feel safe in bringing their kids here.”
SISD’s new Police Chief is working with district administration and local law enforcement agencies to review safety procedures, coordinate advanced trainings, and implement new plans to increase school safety.
