Save The Date for this year’s Parent Symposium on Saturday, January 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Somerset Junior High School Cafeteria. During this district-wide community and parent event, parents will have access to high quality meaningful professional learning sessions.
A few of these sessions:
- How to access scholarships for my child’s college tuition
- Social media and my child’s mental health
- How to make beautiful flowers on a budget
- Parenting with love and logic-Ways parents can strengthen the adult-child relationship
Over a dozen unique sessions offered, many will be offered with Spanish translation.
All families in attendance will have free lunch, free entertainment, and free childcare from new born to 6th grade. Childcare includes interactive hands-on activities, outdoor play, and arts and crafts.
Over 50 door prizes to include $100 dollar gift cards, $50 dollar gift cards, and a four family pack to Sea World and more. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. it’s important all families be there before 9 a.m. because the first prize drawing will take place at 9:00 a.m.
